When reading The Crystal Bible, I found a paragraph about Chalcedony roses, which are uncommon stones. This book said that crystsls often have a gurardian spirit, that the Crystal Being may be in another dimension with which the crystal forms a bridge. These beings will help you connect to rocks and minerals and may improve your healing and/or divination skills. Since I have used stones to make my jewelry for years and have become interested in stone and rock lore and their magical uses, I decided to start working with one of these chalcedony roses. I have four or five and never knew that they might have such beings. This week, I plan to start working with this stone. Isn't it beautiful? I am trying not to have any pre-conceived notion of what the "being" might look like.
I have a hard time making my chatterbox mind be still so I better use very soft music, maybe Carlos Naka, no words, just instrumentation. I have a candle that helps remove blockages and I will use that. I think a short pryaer to the Mother and Father is in order.......Mother and Father, I have one of your children here, one of the Stone People. I want to learn to communicate with and work with this being. Will you bless and guide my work? '
and a word to the stone being.........In my ingorance, I have not honored you and have left you tumbles in a box, huddled with other stones. I now seek knowledge and ask if you will be willing to work with me and help me in my efforts to coummunicate and work with other stone people. So mote it be.
I'm not sure what this pumpkin weighed after my grandson carved it out, but when he won it by guessing the weight, it was 215 lb. It took three of the guys to get it off the truck and into the yard without smashing it. We had our annual Beggar's Night Bash tonight with about 25 people, family and friends dressed up and giving out treats to the kids. Even my 92 year old mom got into the mix in one of my witch hats and my cape. What a great time! And, the Great Pumpkin was the hit of the neighborhood. It was big enough for my great grandson to climb into. I'm putting up some pictures!
Just posted the Samhain episode of Salem Avenue, my Halloween podcast and I am righteously proud of it. Thanks to my awesome friend, Laura of Cellar Door Studios, the sound effects are great and blend in perfect! This truly sounds like an old time radio show. This episode is actually part 4 of my What Would Witches Do series that deals with how witchy people handle those who wrong them........keeping in mind the wiccan rede. I wrote this nightmare a long time ago and "sent" it to the man who murdered my youngest son, Ben. Rick got off scott free and I wanted him to feel threefold the pain he caused our family. I wanted to inspire fear and uncertainty in his life and I wanted him Never to forget. I thought it would make the perfect podcast for Halloween and Laura did an incredible job of layering the sound effects! I closed my eyes when I listened to it and it made my heart beat faster even though I knew it by heart. HA! I bet he has nightmares every time it is played.................hee hee hee (witchy cackle here). I hope it is played a LOT!
